Hundreds Rally Near Gaza Border Demanding Resettlement of Gaza

Hundreds of Israelis gathered on Sunday, September 27, near the Gaza border to protest and demand the return of Israeli settlements to the northern Gaza Strip. The rally, organized by the Nahala movement and other right-wing groups, took place at the Yad Mordechai junction. Participants then drove to an observation point near the former settlement of Nisanit, which was evacuated in 2005 as part of the disengagement plan.

A temporary camp was set up, with organizers stating some participants would remain overnight. The rally's slogan was "We Choose Victory, We Settle Gaza." Speakers at the event included National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Nahala movement head Daniela Weiss, and Knesset members Limor Son Har-Melech and Amit Halevi.
