Ex-Israel Captain Tal Ben Haim Slams Ireland's Football Association

Former Israel national football team captain Tal Ben Haim has fiercely criticized the Irish Football Association, its coach, and some players ahead of a scheduled match between the two nations. He specifically addressed comments made by the Irish coach, suggesting he examine demographics and the history of Gaza before spreading falsehoods, and called the team's offer to donate money to Gaza a misguided gesture that would likely end up with Hamas.

Ben Haim also referenced the decision of some Irish players, like Gavin Bazunu, not to participate in matches against Israel. He sarcastically thanked the Irish players for ultimately deciding to play, implying their initial vote to boycott was noteworthy.
