Elderly Hiker Rescued After Leg Injury at Banias Nature Reserve
Israeli Police Golan Rescue Unit volunteers were dispatched to the Banias Falls Nature Reserve after park rangers reported a 69-year-old woman had injured her leg during a hike. Paramedics from the unit provided initial medical treatment at the scene. Rescue volunteers then carried the woman on a stretcher up the trail to the parking lot. From there, she was transported by an Magen David Adom ambulance to receive further medical care.
The incident occurred during a hiking trip in the popular nature reserve, known for its waterfalls and natural springs.
