Police Arrest Suspect in 2025 Double Murder of Father and Son
Israeli police announced on Tuesday the arrest of a 29-year-old resident of Yafa an-Naseriyye in connection with the murder of Khaled and Majd Muhajneh, a father and son who were shot and killed in the town approximately ten months prior. The incident occurred on the evening of December 20, 2025, when the victims, residents of Yafa an-Naseriyye, were fatally shot.
Following the killings, the Northern District's Central Unit (Yamar) launched a covert investigation. After extensive investigative procedures, the case has now moved into the public phase.
On Tuesday morning, forces from the Northern District's Central Unit, supported by Border Police, raided the home of the suspect in Yafa an-Naseriyye and apprehended him on suspicion of involvement in the double homicide.
The Nazareth-Nof HaGalil Magistrate's Court ordered the suspect's detention extended until next Thursday, October 1, while investigations continue.
