Eden Harel Explains Channel 14 Departure, Discusses Son's Combat Service

Eden Harel, a presenter on Israel's Channel 14 and wife of Oded Menashe, recently shared her complex emotions as a mother of a combat soldier with her Instagram followers. Responding to a question about her son Uriah's service, Harel posted a picture of him holding a weapon and confessed her inner turmoil, stating, "Yes. It changes between wanting to break his leg so he stays home and stops doing foolish things, and at the same time I am proud. Proud of the privilege I have a son who guards the people of Israel."

Alongside her maternal concerns, Harel addressed her professional life and the curiosity surrounding her absence from Channel 14's morning show. She explained that the program had changed direction, and she no longer felt connected to it. Harel revealed she is currently enjoying working on a documentary and is preparing to launch a new interview program titled 'Let It Stay Between Us,' expressing excitement for future projects and emphasizing her preference for work she connects with.

An avid outdoors enthusiast, Harel also shared her family's plans for the upcoming intermediate days of the holiday. "This is a wonderful time for the sea," she announced, adding details about their planned overnight stay outdoors, mentioning a sukkah and a tent for their "quiet" experience by the sea.
