Isracard has upgraded its +CashBack gift card and, for the first time, added the Zara Group’s stores to the list of participating retailers. Cardholders can now use cashback earned on the Isracard credit card at Zara, Zara Home, Stradivarius, Bershka, Oysho, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti and Lefties.
To spend the benefit, customers must convert accumulated cashback into the gift card and load it into a digital wallet on a phone, tablet, smartwatch, bracelet or payment ring through Google Pay or Apple Pay. The payment can then be made at the register. This is the first time Zara has been included in a third-party gift card that functions as a benefit rather than as a simple stored-value card. Until now, the Gottex Group, which imports Inditex brands to Israel, had not included Zara stores in any external gift card.
The Zara Group has its own gift card, but it does not offer a discount, and it also appears in the Ofer Malls gift card, again without any discount. Isracard said it is the first company to sign a contract with Zara. Zara itself does not fund the cashback, it is provided only by Isracard and redeemed at Zara stores. The gift card is available only to holders of Isracard’s CashBack Plus card, which earns 1% in the first year and 0.75% from the second year. Payments to state bodies earn 0.5% in the first year and 0.375% later. Customers must accumulate at least 50 shekels before transferring cashback to the gift card or to BuyMe, and any untransferred balance is canceled at the end of the year.
The card includes many other retailers, such as Pizza Hut, Victory, Hazi Hinam, Good Pharm, Fox, Castro, Golf, Super Yuda, H&O, Hamashbir, Replay, Fox, Nine West, Mega Sport, April, Soltam, Arcosteel, Tzomet Sfarim, Nimrod Shoes, Ace and Optica Halperin. At Zara and Arcosteel, redemption is only through a digital wallet. Missing from the offer are Delta, H&M, Adidas, Shufersal, Super-Pharm, hotels, airlines, restaurants and coffee chains. Some of those can be found on BuyMe cards, which Isracard also lets customers load with their accumulated cashback.
