New Credit Card Offers Major Discounts on Popular International Shopping Chains for Israeli Travelers

A new credit card launched by the Israeli credit company Isracard in collaboration with the consumer club Mami and Maayan Adam is shifting the focus of travel-related credit benefits from flights and hotels to shopping expenses during vacations. The card offers a 10% cashback on purchases made at popular international retail chains frequented by Israelis abroad, including Primark, Zara, Sephora, H&M, Uniqlo, Oysho, and 7-Eleven. This initiative comes as nearly two million Israelis are expected to travel abroad during the summer months, with shopping becoming a significant part of vacation budgets, covering clothing, footwear, beauty products, home goods, and children's items.

In addition to the cashback, cardholders can choose two periods before the end of the year during which no foreign currency conversion fees will be charged; otherwise, a 1% fee applies. The card also waives the annual fee and includes a rewards program based on digital currencies that can be redeemed for products and vouchers. This move reflects a broader trend in the Israeli credit market to tailor benefits around consumers' main spending categories, particularly emphasizing overseas shopping during peak travel seasons.
