Israeli Player Idan Zaltser Zevida Joins Lionel Messi's Inter Miami First Team
Israeli footballer Idan Zaltser Zevida has officially been promoted from Inter Miami's reserve team to the senior squad, signing a short-term contract with the Major League Soccer club. The move means he will now play alongside global soccer superstar Lionel Messi and other notable players like Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
Zevida, who initially signed with Inter Miami in February, had been training with the first team and even practicing with Messi, but remained part of the reserve squad until this recent promotion. The club announced the signing on Saturday.
In a February interview, Zevida described the experience of training with Messi as "crazy" and a "dream come true," recalling watching Messi's clips as a child. He also noted Messi's humble demeanor, stating that the Argentine star trains like any other player and doesn't see himself as superior, allowing others to make him into something more.
