Israeli Midfielder Idan Zaltser Zevida Promoted to Inter Miami First Team
Israeli midfielder Idan Zaltser Zevida has officially been promoted to the Inter Miami senior squad, fulfilling a long-held dream. The club announced on Saturday that Zaltser Zevida, who had previously been part of the reserve team, has signed a short-term contract with the main roster.
He will now play alongside global soccer stars such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Casemiro, and Rodrigo De Paul. Zaltser Zevida initially joined Inter Miami in February, signing a contract that allowed him to train with the first team and even practice alongside Messi multiple times. However, he remained officially affiliated with the club's reserve squad in Major League Soccer (MLS).
Reflecting on his initial experience in February, Zaltser Zevida described training with Messi as "crazy" and a dream come true. He recalled watching Messi's clips as a child and now dancing with the ball alongside him.
