Maccabi Haifa Praises Young Striker Niev Gabai's Progress on Loan

Maccabi Haifa is pleased with the development of striker Niev Gabai, who is currently on loan at Kiryat Shmona. Gabai was the first of 17 players Maccabi Haifa loaned out this summer to various teams in Israel's top three leagues. He has started three league games and appeared as a substitute in two others for Kiryat Shmona, adding speed to their attack and earning praise from coach Shai Birman. Gabai's debut for Kiryat Shmona was successful, scoring his first goal in a 3-0 Toto Cup win. He also scored twice in a 4-2 loss to Hapoel Jerusalem and impressed in a 4-0 league defeat to the same team.
