Fatal Road Accident on Route 90 Claims One Life, Injures Five

A serious road accident involving four vehicles on Route 90 in the Jordan Valley on Tuesday evening resulted in one fatality and five injuries. Emergency services, including Magen David Adom and the Israeli military, responded to the scene.

Paramedics pronounced a man, approximately 60 years old, dead at the scene after finding him unconscious inside one of the vehicles. He sustained multiple severe injuries. Two other men, aged around 60 and 40, suffered serious injuries, including head and abdominal trauma, and were airlifted by Magen David Adom and Israeli military helicopters to a hospital.

A third man, approximately 30 years old, sustained moderate abdominal injuries and was evacuated by helicopter. Two additional individuals with minor injuries were transported by ambulance. Paramedics described the scene as very serious, with all four vehicles sustaining significant damage.

The Israeli Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Route 90 was closed in both directions following the incident, and accident investigators were present at the scene.

The accident occurred as emergency and police forces were already engaged in other operations in the area.
