Man in Kippah Attacked in Germany, Called 'Child Murderer'

A man wearing a kippah and a sweater with a "Tsahal" (IDF) emblem was assaulted on the Rhine embankment in Dusseldorf, Germany, by individuals of North African appearance. The incident occurred as the victim was walking with his girlfriend. Two women initially approached him, shouting anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic insults. They were soon joined by two men who proceeded to physically assault him with fists and kicks, repeatedly calling him a "child murderer." Three passersby intervened to help the victim. One of the rescuers sustained minor injuries when the attackers also targeted him. Dusseldorf police are working to identify the assailants. State security agencies have been involved due to the anti-Semitic nature of the attack.
