Weapons, Drugs Seized in Tayibe; Three Suspects Detained

Central District Police and Border Police National Guard officers conducted an operation in Tayibe, uncovering a significant cache of illegal weapons and drugs. During a raid on a house, investigators and K-9 units discovered six handguns, weapon parts, magazines, ammunition, and approximately three kilograms of suspected narcotics.

In the initial search, two handguns, ammunition, and about three kilograms of ecstasy and crystal meth were found. Two female suspects were detained at the scene and taken for questioning.

A parallel operation at another location in the city yielded three more handguns, parts of an Uzi rifle, a handgun holster, various magazines, and a large quantity of ammunition. A sixth handgun was found during a further search of the premises, leading to the detention of a third female suspect.

The police stated that this operation is part of an ongoing effort to combat crime and violence in the Arab community, emphasizing their commitment to curbing illegal weapons and ongoing violence.
