Stylist and content creator Itay Bezaleli has opened the doors to his colorful Tel Aviv apartment, located on the bustling Shenkin Street, which has recently seen a resurgence as a fashion hub. Bezaleli, who moved to the area six years ago, describes Shenkin's recovery from extensive renovations in the past decade, comparing its current vibrancy to its 1990s heyday. He notes that the street is now attracting designers, restaurants, and visitors from across the country.

His apartment, which he designed himself, is a reflection of his eclectic style, featuring a large Madonna photo by Mario Testino, artwork, and personal creations for stars like Noa Kirel, Netta Barzilai, and Eden Golan, many of whom he styled for the Eurovision Song Contest. The space is filled with plants and a mix of unique designer items and affordable finds from online retailers.

In the past two years, Bezaleli has shifted his focus from styling to content creation, earning a spot on TikTok's Discover List 2026. He recalls his early career, where he often sourced clothes from the Bezalel market due to designers' reluctance to lend items, and humorously admits to passing off these affordable pieces as high-end. While he no longer offers daily personal styling, he remains open to major projects like music videos or magazine covers.

Bezaleli emphasizes his love for living near the Bezalel market, a significant source of inspiration. He describes his home as a 'private pop museum,' blending expensive art with inexpensive finds, and creating a dynamic, modular environment that he constantly rearranges. The war has also influenced his perspective on his living space, prompting him to re-evaluate its layout and functionality, integrating previously separate areas like the bomb shelter into his daily life.

He sees a strong connection between his maximalist styling approach and his home decor, incorporating bold colors and elements but with a controlled 'dose.' His favorite possessions include items from his work with Eurovision contestants, which he keeps as part of his archive.
