Stylist Itay Bezaleli Recalls Dressing Miri Bohadana with Market Finds Early in Career

Israeli stylist Itay Bezaleli shared a humorous anecdote about his early days in fashion styling during a conversation with content creator and reality TV alum Danit Greenberg. Bezaleli recalled that when he started his career, he was not allowed to receive clothes from stores because he was a young stylist. For a project on the show "MasterChef Israel," he had to style the well-known Israeli celebrity Miri Bohadana. To create her looks, he shopped at the local Bezalel market, buying clothes for as little as 10 to 50 shekels and told her the items were from a boutique, crafting impressive outfits from these affordable pieces.

Greenberg expressed surprise at the story, emphasizing that the key to great styling is how the pieces are combined rather than their origin. Bezaleli joked that Bohadana might be surprised to learn about his market-sourced outfits now. Since then, Bezaleli has reinvented himself multiple times, working with top Israeli artists such as Noa Kirel and Netta Barzilai, and designing Eden Golan's Eurovision outfit. Currently, he focuses on live styling sessions and assembling eclectic looks, a concept that gained popularity on social media and was showcased at the recent local fashion week.
