Man Rescued After Getting Stuck 40 Feet Up Palm Tree
A man who climbed a palm tree to trim its fronds became stranded approximately 40 feet (12 meters) above the ground and required rescue. Fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene and utilized a specialized high-lift crane to reach the trapped individual.
Video footage from the incident shows the crane's basket carefully maneuvering near power lines to reach the man, who was clinging to the top of the palm tree with pruning shears beside him. Firefighters assisted the man in safely transferring from the tree into the crane's basket.
He was subsequently lowered to the ground unharmed. The operation concluded with the man being declared healthy and whole.
