Netanyahu Accuses NYC Mayor Adams of Trying to Silence Him

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly addressed New York City Mayor Eric Adams, accusing him of attempting to prevent his visit and silence him. "You are trying to stop me from coming here. You are trying to silence me. You cannot stop me and you cannot silence the truth," Netanyahu stated.

Netanyahu asserted that "the simple truth" is that Israel prevented genocide and did not commit it. He claimed that Hamas, which he referred to as "Madaani's friends," would have committed genocide against Israelis if they had not been stopped. He also linked the fears of Jewish people in New York to rising antisemitism, declaring that the era of Jews being led to slaughter is over due to the existence of the State of Israel and its army.

Netanyahu reiterated his accusations that Adams is trying to prevent his arrival and silence him, emphasizing that the truth cannot be suppressed. He repeated his assertion that Israel prevented genocide and that Hamas would have committed genocide against Israelis if not for their actions. The Prime Minister concluded by stating that Jewish people in New York are fearful due to antisemitism, but that days of Jews being led to slaughter are over, as Israel now has a state and an army.
