IDF Chief of Staff Warns Iran on Submarine Delivery: "We Are Watching"

During a ceremony marking the arrival of a new German-made submarine, Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi issued a direct warning to Iran. Halevi stated that despite being "wounded and bruised," the Iranian regime has not changed its intentions, and Israel's "eyes are open" to its actions.

The submarine, the INS Rahav, is the fifth Dolphin-class submarine delivered to Israel from Germany, bolstering the Israeli Navy's capabilities. The ceremony took place at the Haifa naval base.

Halevi's remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing concerns about Iran's nuclear program and its regional influence through proxy groups. The submarines are widely believed to be part of Israel's ultimate deterrent capability, capable of launching nuclear missiles.
