Smotrich Vows to Bring 'Zionism' to Galilee Amid Protests
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich held a meeting in the Rouss area of Majd al-Krum, in Israel's Galilee region, facing local opposition and protests. In a video clip shared from the location, Smotrich stated that Majd al-Krum is "directly across the road" and that "nothing should prevent Jewish agriculture and grazing in this part of the mountain."
Smotrich referenced protests by Arab residents in the area the previous week, asserting, "I am not prepared under any circumstances to obscure the truth. The chants that a large crowd of Arabs chanted here were 'Long live Palestine.'"
He declared his intention to "bring Zionism back to the area," adding, "I do not want to expel any Arab. In short, we will transfer the revolution from the West Bank to the Galilee."
