Rabbi Yisrael Adler Releases 'Kingdom of Mir Yeshiva' Musical Project

Ahead of the upcoming holiday of Simchat Torah, Rabbi Yisrael Adler, known as a 'Grammer' (a type of liturgical singer), has launched a unique musical project titled 'Kingdom of Mir Yeshiva.' The work, produced for the 'Malchei Rabanan' event held at the Arena Hall in Jerusalem in 2026, uses traditional chanting ('Grammen') to depict the world of Torah scholars at the Mir Yeshiva. The project is presented in three languages: Hebrew, English, and Yiddish, aiming to reach a broad audience while preserving its spiritual message.

The Mir Yeshiva initiated the project, with Fleischman Ples handling the direction and production. Adler himself is responsible for the English and Yiddish vocals and writing, while M.A. Tuvim conceived and wrote the Hebrew lyrics. The Malchut choir performed, and the musical arrangement was done by Shmulik Weinrich. The production team also includes Avi Singolda on guitars, Dor Asraf on wind instruments, Yossi Shpigler on sound design, and Moishe Roth on musical management. Switch Productions handled editing, and Assaf Klein filmed the project.

This release joins a recent surge of new musical works for the Sukkot and Simchat Torah holidays. Other recent releases include Yoeli Davidovitz's debut album 'Clouds,' Yanki Rosenbaum's single 'Olu Ushpizin,' and Chaim Green's track 'Zman Simchateinu.' The 'Kingdom of Mir Yeshiva' project emphasizes the joy of Simchat Torah and the deep connection to Torah study, presenting the traditional 'Grammen' art form with a modern, professional production that maintains its spiritual depth.
