Jewish Settlers Torch Car in Southern Hebron Hills, Cameras Record Incident

Three Jewish assailants set fire to a vehicle overnight between Wednesday and Thursday in the Palestinian village of Al-Ruba'i, located in the southern Hebron Hills. The individuals, wearing hoodies, poured flammable material onto the car, ignited it, and fled the scene. The entire incident was captured on security cameras in the village, which is situated near the Zif Junction checkpoint and is routinely monitored.

In a separate but related incident, Palestinian residents reported the torching of a vehicle in the nearby village of Atara, close to Ramallah. Vandalism including the spray-painting of revenge slogans such as "Only Transfer. Revenge, Ali Zahav, Later" was also reported at this location. The phrase "Ali Zahav" likely refers to Ali Hassan Abd al-Majid, a former commander in Saddam Hussein's Republican Guard, who was executed in 2010, and "Later" may refer to a planned future attack.
