Teen Dies After Being Hit by Car in Northern Israel

A 15-year-old boy has died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle near Kiryat Bialik in northern Israel. The incident occurred late Wednesday night at the Tzeber Junction. Emergency medical services responded and transported the critically injured teen to Rambam Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead due to the severity of his wounds.

Initial investigations suggest the boy was with friends when he unexpectedly entered the roadway and was hit by a passing car. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was also taken for medical treatment. The exact reason for the boy entering the road is still unknown.

This fatality follows two other road deaths in Israel on Tuesday. A cyclist, approximately 30 years old, was killed after being hit by a truck at the Zichron Yaakov junction on Highway 4. Paramedics attempted resuscitation but were forced to declare him dead at the scene.

Earlier that same day, a motorcyclist in his 60s died in a collision with a truck on Highway 398 near the settlement of Nokdim in the Judean Hills. Responders found the man lying on the road next to his wrecked motorcycle and pronounced him dead.
