Teenager Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Northern Israel
A 15-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries on Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle at the Tzeber Junction on the Acre-Haifa road, near Kiryat Bialik. The incident occurred during the "bridge" holiday period between Yom Kippur and Sukkot.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics responded to the scene after receiving a report at 11:10 PM. They found the teenager unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and suffering from severe, multi-system trauma. Emergency responders immediately began resuscitation efforts, including the use of a defibrillator and artificial respiration.
The boy was transported by a mobile intensive care unit to Rambam Hospital in Haifa while resuscitation efforts were ongoing. His condition was described as critical upon arrival at the hospital. The accident took place at the Tzeber Junction, a location on the Acre-Haifa highway.
