Teenager Critically Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle in Kiryat Bialik
A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Kiryat Bialik on Wednesday. Emergency medical services were called to the scene on Acre-Haifa Road in the city, where they found the unconscious teenager lying on the road.
Paramedics and EMTs from Magen David Adom (MDA) immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including the use of a defibrillator and artificial respiration. The boy sustained severe, multi-system trauma.
He was transported to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in a mobile intensive care unit, with resuscitation efforts continuing en route. MDA described the incident as a very serious road accident, noting the boy was found without a pulse or breathing.
