Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Struck by Car in Kiryat Bialik
A man in his 30s sustained a severe head injury after being hit by a vehicle in Kiryat Bialik, a city in northern Israel, on the Acre-Haifa road. Emergency medical teams responded to the scene, where they sedated and intubated the pedestrian due to the severity of his injuries before transporting him to Rambam Hospital. He is currently in serious condition.
The driver of the car, a 50-year-old woman, was also treated by medical personnel and taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Shlomo Simcha Fox, an emergency medical responder who was among the first on the scene, described finding the pedestrian unconscious with a critical head injury. He stated that life-saving treatment, including ventilation and medication, was administered before the patient was evacuated to the hospital.
