Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Kiryat Bialik
A 40-year-old pedestrian sustained serious, multi-system injuries after being struck by a vehicle on the Acre-Haifa road in Kiryat Bialik on Friday evening. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene at approximately 7:53 PM after receiving a report from the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical service's 101 hotline for the Carmel region.
Paramedics provided initial treatment to the man, who was conscious at the scene, before transporting him to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for further medical care. His condition was described as serious but stable.
Nir Muskovich, a senior paramedic with MDA's motorcycle unit, stated upon arrival, "We observed the injured person, who was fully conscious and suffering from multiple injuries. We provided him with emergency, life-saving medical care, including stopping bleeding and administering necessary medications. We evacuated him via an intensive care ambulance to the hospital, and his condition is described as serious but stable."
