Elderly Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Acre
An approximately 70-year-old pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the city of Acre on Wednesday. The incident occurred on Haim Moshe Shapira Street.
Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and provided the man with immediate medical treatment. He was found unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury.
Paramedics then transported the pedestrian to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where he is currently listed in serious condition. One MDA paramedic described finding the victim lying beside the road, unconscious and with a severe head wound, and stated that life-saving medical care was administered before transport to the hospital.
