Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Raids, Arrests, and Demolish Home in West Bank
Israeli forces carried out extensive raids across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Thursday, detaining residents for on-the-spot investigations, making arrests, and engaging in confrontations that resulted in injuries. The military also increased its presence in several regions. Concurrently, settlers carried out attacks, blocked roads, and cut electricity to some areas.
In the Nablus Governorate, Israeli forces demolished the home of prisoner Dawas Hassoun in the village of Beit Urin, northwest of the city, after accusing him of killing a settler. Forces also raided the town of Sebastia and the city of Nablus near the Beit Furik checkpoint. A new settlement outpost appeared east of Nablus in the "Al-Dahr" area, while settlers blocked the road to the Al-Masoudiya area and cut electricity to residents there.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces, supported by reinforcements and a bulldozer, entered the city, leading to clashes where Palestinians were injured by Israeli fire, according to local sources. Raids and arrests also occurred in the Al-Tubal area, with Fadi Yousef Daoud and Khaled Mahmoud Nazal detained. Homes were raided and land was bulldozed.
Raids extended to the towns of Hableh and Azzun, south and east of Qalqilya, with forces raiding a residential building in Hableh and conducting searches and arrests in Azzun.
In Tubas Governorate, Israeli forces raided the city of Tubas and a home in the town of Tamoun, south of the governorate, deploying reinforcements and bulldozers. They also raided homes in the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas.
In Jenin, forces raided the town of Al-Silah Al-Harthiya, west of the governorate, and a home in the village of Kafr Qud, northwest of Jenin.
In Hebron, Israeli forces raided the city of Dhahiriya, south of the governorate. Settlers blocked the road to the village of Umm Al-Kheir in Masafer Yatta.
Israeli forces also raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, as part of the simultaneous raids across the West Bank.
