Elitzur Ramla Begins EuroCup Qualifiers Against Greek Opponent
Elitzur Ramla, a decorated Israeli women's basketball club, is set to begin its campaign in the EuroCup qualifiers on Wednesday. After a disappointing previous season, the team has undergone significant changes this summer aiming to return to the top of Israeli women's basketball.
Due to restrictions on hosting games in Israel, Ramla will play both of its qualifying matches against Greek team Proteas Voulas in Greece. The first game is scheduled for Wednesday, with the second leg on Friday. The team that wins by aggregate score will advance to the group stage of the EuroCup, Europe's second-tier club competition. Maccabi Ashdod is also participating in the group stage.
