Manor Solomon Dismisses Austrian Journalist's War Crimes Question

Israeli football star Manor Solomon responded sharply to an Austrian journalist who questioned him about alleged "war crimes" by Israel in Gaza, citing comments attributed to the Austrian president. During a press conference ahead of Israel's Nations League match against Austria, Solomon was asked by the journalist about the accusations.

"I haven't heard about it and I don't care. I'm here to play football," Solomon stated initially. When the journalist insisted, "He said it," and pressed further, Solomon reiterated, "But why do you want me to respond to that? I am a football player and I came to play football, I am focused only on that."

The journalist continued to press, stating, "It's okay, I'm asking my questions and you answer what you want. I'm doing my job." Solomon concluded the exchange with a sarcastic remark, "By the way, you're doing a great job."

The Israeli national team is preparing for their Nations League campaign opener against Austria, scheduled for Thursday. Coach Ran Ben Shimon and Solomon addressed the media at the press conference.
