Manor Solomon Dismisses Austrian Journalist's War Crimes Question

Israeli football star Manor Solomon responded sharply to an Austrian journalist who questioned him about alleged "war crimes" by Israel in Gaza, citing comments attributed to the Austrian president. During a press conference ahead of Israel's Nations League match against Austria, Solomon was asked by the journalist to comment on the accusations.

Solomon initially stated he had not heard of the allegations and was not interested, emphasizing his focus on football. When the journalist insisted, mentioning the Austrian president's alleged statement, Solomon reiterated his position, asking why he should comment on such matters when he is a footballer there to play the game. The journalist persisted, asserting his right to ask questions and Solomon's freedom to answer as he pleased.

In response to the journalist's continued questioning, Solomon delivered a sarcastic remark, saying, "By the way, you are doing a great job." The exchange, captured on video, occurred as the Israeli national team prepared for their upcoming match.

The Israeli team is set to play Austria on Thursday as part of the Nations League campaign. Coach Ran Ben Shimon and Solomon addressed the press conference on Wednesday.
