Terrorist Rammed Checkpoint, Attacked Soldiers, Eliminated

A terrorist rammed his vehicle into the Makabim checkpoint on Highway 443 on Wednesday afternoon, subsequently attempting to attack soldiers before being neutralized. The incident occurred around 5:00 PM when the 29-year-old attacker approached the checkpoint at high speed, colliding with a police vehicle. A security forces member was critically injured in the initial collision and evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. The attacker then emerged from his vehicle and attempted to harm additional soldiers, but was shot and killed by security forces present at the scene. Security forces, including IDF soldiers and police officers, responded immediately, neutralizing the attacker within seconds. The event was captured on security cameras, with footage showing the dramatic moments of the attack. Police and military officials, including the commander of the Judea and Samaria region, arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Paramedics from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom provided initial treatment to the critically injured man, who was evacuated to the hospital in serious and unstable condition.
