New Details Emerge on Terror Attack at Binyamin Checkpoint

A reserve soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) was critically injured in a car-ramming attack at the Maccabim checkpoint in the Binyamin region. The soldier, who was participating in joint operational activities with Israeli police, was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with severe injuries. According to the hospital, the 30-year-old man was unconscious upon arrival and required immediate life-saving medical intervention, including intubation and artificial ventilation, before being transferred for further examination.

The incident occurred when a terrorist drove a vehicle into a police car occupied by a police officer and the IDF reservist. Security forces at the scene neutralized the attacker. The IDF confirmed the reservist's participation in the operation.
