Israeli Post-Production Firms Gravity and Shortcut Playground Merge
Two leading Israeli post-production and visual effects companies, Gravity and Shortcut Playground, are merging to operate under a single umbrella. Gravity is led by owner Yoram Altman and creative and innovation director Yoav Savriago, while Shortcut Playground is headed by designer Adam Feinberg and CEO Naor Ron. The merger aims to create a comprehensive group that will support brands and advertising agencies throughout the entire creative process, from concept to final product, offering a wide range of services including creative, production, post-production, and interactive solutions.
This strategic move comes in response to significant changes in the advertising and creative industries, particularly the impact of artificial intelligence. The integration of new technologies necessitates the rapid production of large volumes of content within tight deadlines, blurring traditional lines between production, post-production, and technology. In this evolving landscape, clients are seeking not just service providers but strategic and creative partners, a niche the newly formed group intends to fill.
