Kiryat Gat Honors Top Students at Annual Dean's List Ceremony

Kiryat Gat held its annual ceremony to honor students who achieved academic excellence during the 2025-2026 academic year. The event, hosted by the Youth and Young Adults Department under the management of Odelia Sabag, took place in the office of Mayor Kfir Suissa.

The ceremony aimed to recognize and appreciate the students' academic achievements, perseverance, and dedication to their studies. Mayor Kfir Suissa, Municipal Director Albert Sacharovich, and City Council member Yossi Haimov, who oversees youth affairs, were in attendance.

Mayor Suissa emphasized the city's commitment to excellence across all sectors, including encouraging youth towards elite military service, commissioning in the IDF, and supporting discharged soldiers. He highlighted the city's investment in students, including the "Tnu'fa" center and recent scholarships totaling over 4 million shekels. At this ceremony, grants were awarded to 16 "Dean's List" students for the academic year.

Odelia Sabag, Director of the Youth and Young Adults Department, stated that the students' academic achievements are a source of inspiration and pride for the city. She stressed the importance of investing in young people, encouraging excellence, and providing opportunities for their development and realization of potential. The "Tnu'fa" center was mentioned as a resource available to students.

Among the honored students were Sarit Hagbi, Noa Yasmin Afalo, Lidor Bokobza, Gal Megidish, Danel Aaron, Gad Yair Mimran, Yuval Bashari, Linoy Buzaglo, Sharon Levi, Liron Cohen, Keren Tzemach Sharoni, Eitan Dubinsky, and Ariel Ilayich.
