Families of Missing Negev Youths Urge Israel to Act in Egypt

The families of three missing young men from the Negev have sent an urgent appeal to Israeli Foreign Minister Gidon Sa'ar, imploring the state to utilize all available resources to ascertain the fate of their sons. The missing individuals have been identified as Bilal Hassan Masoudin Al-Walidi, Bilal Salam Al-Afashqa, and Ahmed Odeh Al-Doji.

According to their families, who have retained lawyer Mutlaq Badran, extensive efforts have been made to locate the young men. These efforts included engaging an Egyptian lawyer to seek information from Egyptian authorities, but these attempts have thus far been unsuccessful. The families stated they are unwilling to remain inactive while their sons' whereabouts remain unknown.

Lawyer Badran emphasized that the families have received no information regarding the fate of the three youths. He stressed that it is the responsibility of the State of Israel to actively engage with Egyptian authorities to uncover answers and secure the return of its citizens. The families are requesting that Israel deploy all diplomatic and available tools to resolve this critical situation.
