Report: NICE in Talks to Sell Actimize to Brookfield for $2 Billion
Israeli software company NICE is reportedly in advanced negotiations to sell its subsidiary, Actimize, to investment firm Brookfield for approximately $2 billion, according to Sky News. Brookfield has reportedly been granted exclusivity in the discussions. While negotiations are progressing, there is no certainty that the deal will be finalized.
Following the report, NICE's stock experienced an initial surge of 8% in trading but quickly reversed, ending the session down about 0.5%. NICE had previously put Actimize up for sale in November 2025, as first reported by Calcalist. In May, five investment funds, including Advent and New Mountain, were reported to have advanced to the second round of bidding, with valuations ranging between $2 billion and $3 billion, though none have reached a deal thus far.
NICE acquired Actimize in 2007 for $280 million. Actimize specializes in developing financial risk management solutions, including anti-money laundering, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance. It became a division within NICE in 2009 and was renamed NICE Actimize.
