Rapper Dzhigan Undergoing Rehab in Israel After Alleged Shooting Incident

Russian Telegram channel Mash reported on September 23 that rapper Dzhigan (Denis Ustimenko-Vaynstein) is undergoing rehabilitation in Israel following a serious incident allegedly occurring on the night of July 4 at his home in the "Chateau Sovereign" cottage settlement near Moscow. According to Mash, the artist held employees and security guards captive for about ten hours and opened fire, wounding one guard in the arm and leg. Russian law enforcement agencies have not officially confirmed these details, though many Russian media outlets and Telegram channels have republished the report with additional information.

Mash claims Dzhigan armed himself with a "Saiga-9" shotgun, gathered household staff, and accused those present of various crimes and betrayal. The artist's children were reportedly in the house at the time. Following the alleged shooting, police, settlement security, and the rapper's acquaintances arrived and eventually subdued him, according to Russian media reports. Mash also asserts that Dzhigan's ex-wife, Oksana Samoylova, confirmed the incident, though the channel did not provide a direct quote or specify which details she confirmed.

Dzhigan's presence at an Israeli rehabilitation center is confirmed. He himself posted photos and videos from the location in August, and his father, Alexander, confirmed his son was in Israel for a rehabilitation program, though the reasons for treatment were not publicly disclosed at the time.

Following the reports of the shooting, Dzhigan denied the allegations, stating that the media had "twisted everything" and calling the publications lies and provocations. He claimed he was on a music video shoot. However, the rapper reaffirmed his rehabilitation stay in Israel, saying, "Rehab isn't a bad thing. I am in Israel, on the Holy Land, I am here to spiritually recharge."
