Hapoel Haifa Player Sanctioned for Sideline Misconduct

Hapoel Haifa player Anis Porat Ayash appeared before a club disciplinary committee on Wednesday following his behavior during the team's loss to Beitar Jerusalem. The committee, headed by club CEO Itay Rak and including a representative from the players' union, heard Porat Ayash's apology for his actions. He acknowledged his mistake and pledged to apologize to the coach, staff, and teammates. A phone call was also made to coach Haim Silvas, during which Porat Ayash expressed remorse.

The disciplinary committee decided that Porat Ayash will host the team for a meal as a consequence. He will also be reinstated to full training with the squad after his suspension. Porat Ayash was substituted after entering the game as a replacement and, before heading to the locker room, was heard cursing coach Silvas as he left the field.
