Court Appoints New Trustee for Hapoel Ironi Tiberias Football Club

Hapoel Ironi Tiberias announced on Wednesday that attorney Liza Hadash has been appointed as the football club's trustee by court order. The club stated that this decision removes Mickey Biton from decision-making authority and transfers his signing rights to Hadash. The court's ruling adopted three expert opinions against Biton, legally barring him from all club decisions.

The club's announcement declared an end to a period where the club, its players, and employees were allegedly held "hostage" in a dispute they were not part of. It emphasized that Ironi Tiberias is now free to pursue a new, stable path forward.

Club representative Miki Biton stated that he will continue to manage the club's administrative and professional aspects, supporting the players and staff. He will work in full cooperation with Hadash, who will oversee budgetary and cash flow matters, enabling the club to operate professionally. Biton asserted that the era of uncertainty, hostages, paralysis, and distractions is over, and the club is embarking on a new, clean path with the sole goal of restoring peace and advancing forward.
