Hadiida Demands Release From Hapoel Ironi Tiberias Amid Trust Crisis

Hapoel Ironi Tiberias midfielder Guy Hadiida has filed an urgent arbitration claim seeking immediate release from the club, citing a "fundamental crisis of trust." The 31-year-old, who has two years remaining on his contract, is scheduled to appear before the Football Association's arbitration institution on Sunday to resolve the issue.

Hadiida was a key player for Tiberias last season, contributing 12 goals and 7 assists, and also scored 8 goals with 7 assists in the club's previous season in the top league. However, a three-month communication breakdown has occurred, stemming from controversies involving "loaned players" and "double contracts" that have affected both the club and Hadiida.

Hadiida had hoped for a move to a larger club after his crucial role in keeping Tiberias in the league, but the "loaned players" affair led to his suspension. The club expects him to return to training on September 13th with other suspended players, stating he remains their player unless a suitable offer is received.

Tiberias is reportedly seeking 600,000 shekels for Hadiida from one of the top five Israeli clubs, but is willing to negotiate for a smaller club. His agent, Avi Shai Ifargan, stated that the arbitration claim aims to recognize Hadiida as a free agent due to the ongoing trust issues. He highlighted that Hadiida previously showed leniency regarding double contracts but felt a "red line" was crossed this time, especially after being suspended due to the club's instruction to undergo an IV fluid infusion.

Ironi Tiberias stated that all claims and responses will be handled by their representative, attorney Ofer Ben Asa.
