Ironi Tiberias football club is preparing for a significant coaching change following the temporary suspension of head coach Aliran Hodeda by the Anti-Doping Agency. Hodeda's suspension comes amid a doping-related controversy, prompting the club to seek a new coach ahead of the upcoming season. Several candidates are in talks with the club's management, with Slobodan Drapic, who started last season with Maccabi Bnei Reineh but was dismissed after six rounds, among the frontrunners. Drapic is negotiating for a contract lasting at least until the end of the season, though no final agreement has been reached yet, with discussions reportedly positive.

In the meantime, assistant coach Moti Krispil is leading the team's training sessions and matches. The club received special permission to have Krispil act as head coach for one month despite him not holding a professional coaching certificate.
