Bnei Brak Rabbis' Yom Kippur Eve Devotion Captured in Photos

Photographer Shuki Lerer has released a collection of images documenting scenes of reverence from the city of Bnei Brak on the eve of Yom Kippur. The photographs capture prominent rabbinic leaders, referred to as "Gedolei HaDor" (great leaders of the generation), in their prayers and observances.

The collection includes documentation from the esteemed Slabodka Yeshiva, featuring its leaders Rabbi Dov Landau and Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch. Additionally, images depict Rabbi Shraga Steinman lighting the "ner chayim" (life candle) in his residence, and Rabbi Shimon Gilai engaged in prayer and supplication for the welfare of the community.
