Noa Kirel's Spanish-Language Telenovela 'Mírame Así' Set for Amazon Prime Release
The trailer for the musical telenovela "Mírame Así" (Look at Me Like That), starring Israeli singer Noa Kirel, was released overnight along with its theme song. The Spanish-language series, filmed in Argentina, has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and will premiere on October 9 in Latin America. It will also air on América TV in Argentina and Peru.
The plot centers on a young waitress, played by Kirel, who, after a heartbreak, joins a band led by Tommy, portrayed by Argentine actor and singer Agustín Bernasconi. Tommy is also dealing with heartbreak. Kirel's character develops her musical career within the series, which also features a love triangle.
The telenovela, titled "Noa's Way" in Hebrew, includes a soundtrack with nine songs performed by Kirel, Bernasconi, and other cast members. A cover of Mexican singer Paulina Rubio's song "Ni Una Sola Palabra" is also featured. The first single, sharing the series' title, has already been released.
The 24-episode series was produced by SIPUR, FAM Contenidos, and SWAP, with SIPUR's CEO Emilio Schenker and producer Yair Dori also involved. SIPUR is handling international sales for the production.
