Beitar Jerusalem Defender Jordan Cohen Out Another Month
Beitar Jerusalem has received a blow with the news that left-back Jordan Cohen is expected to miss at least another month of play. Cohen, who was a standout player for the team last season, has not yet been included in the squad for the current Premier League season. The team is currently in a break from league play but is preparing for the 2026-27 season. Beitar Jerusalem is scheduled to return to action on October 11 against Hapoel Ramat Gan, followed by a challenging match against Maccabi Tel Aviv on October 19. After that, the team will face Hapoel Petah Tikva, Ironi Kiryat Shmona, and Tiberias before the November international break.
Cohen participated in European qualifiers for Beitar, starting in two matches against Larnaca and one against Austria Wien. Last season, he was among the top players in the Premier League, scoring four goals and providing four assists.
