Beitar Jerusalem Defender Jordan Cohen to Miss Another Month

Beitar Jerusalem has received the disappointing news that left-back Jordan Cohen is expected to be sidelined for at least another month. Cohen, who was a standout player for the team last season, has not yet been included in the squad for the current Israeli Premier League season. The team is currently in a break from league play but is preparing for the upcoming 2026/27 season. Beitar Jerusalem is scheduled to return to action on October 11th against Hapoel Ramat Gan, followed by a challenging match against Maccabi Tel Aviv on October 19th. Prior to the November international break, they will also face Hapoel Petah Tikva, Ironi Kiryat Shmona, and Tiberias.

Cohen participated in Beitar's European qualifiers earlier this season, starting in both matches against AEK Larnaca and the first leg against Austria Wien. Last year, he was recognized as one of the league's top players, contributing four goals and four assists. His continued absence is a significant blow to the team's defense.
