Givat Shmuel Opens "Ayelet's Promenade" Themed Park Inspired by Children's Books

The Givat Shmuel municipality last week inaugurated "Ayelet's Promenade," a new themed park located at 46 HaZait Street. The park brings to life illustrations and characters from the beloved children's books by author and illustrator Rinat Hoffer. The expansive green space features walking paths, a flowing stream, small waterfalls, and an ecological pool, interspersed with sculptures and figures from Hoffer's well-known works, including "Ayelet Travels," "Hanan the Gardener," "Tzipi and Tzuf," and "The Tall Dwarf and the Short Giant."

Interactive play structures and educational games designed to encourage curiosity and experiential learning in nature are also integrated into the park. The project was spearheaded by the municipality's engineering department, designed by the landscape architecture firm "Berman Brut," and developed in close collaboration with Hoffer herself.

The festive opening ceremony was attended by Mayor Yossi Brodny, city council members, families, and numerous residents. The city administration has invited the public to visit the park and enjoy a unique literary and recreational experience open to all.
