Hapoel Jerusalem Coach Praises Lorenzo Brown, Seeks Harper Replacement

Hapoel Jerusalem's head coach, Sasa Obradovic, spoke at the team's season launch event for the 2026/27 season, held at the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem. The team has undergone significant changes this summer, with Obradovic leading the recruitment efforts. The Serbian coach is preparing for the upcoming Winner Cup quarter-finals against Bnei Herzliya this Friday, followed by the start of their European campaign in the EuroCup against German side Rostock next Tuesday.

Obradovic expressed his understanding of the club's ambitious plans, stating, "The first day I met the management, I understood the plan we are building and how great we want to be. This event also shows these aspirations." When questioned about finding a replacement for player Jarell Harper, Obradovic confirmed the team is actively searching for options and expects a decision to be made soon. "We are looking, we have options, a decision needs to be made soon from the possibilities, let's see what the coming days bring," he said.

Regarding Lorenzo Brown, a player who has been linked with the team, Obradovic offered a positive assessment, calling him "an excellent player."
