Opposition Leaders Meet to Coordinate Strategy Ahead of Joint Summit

Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yisrael Beiteinu" party, and Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the "Yachad" party, met on Tuesday to "coordinate bloc strategy," according to a joint statement from their parties. They agreed to continue cooperation and implement necessary actions, in coordination with other parties in the bloc, to achieve victory in the upcoming elections and replace the government they described as responsible for the "October 7 massacre."

The meeting between Eisenkot and Lieberman precedes a larger summit of "Change Bloc" leaders hosted by Opposition leader Yair Lapid at his Tel Aviv home this coming Saturday night. This will be the first time Lapid and all four bloc party leaders have met together since the election campaign began. Also invited to the meeting are Naftali Bennett, chairman of "Yachad," and Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Party, for a "discussion on coordinating the bloc's moves."

Notably absent from the opposition meeting invitation list are Mansour Abbas, chairman of the Ra'am party, and Benny Gantz, chairman of the Blue and White party.
