Former Miss Israel Titi Aynaw Endorses Avigdor Lieberman for Prime Minister

Former Miss Israel and public diplomacy activist Titi Aynaw announced on Tuesday her endorsement of Yisrael Beiteinu party chairman Avigdor Lieberman ahead of the upcoming elections. Aynaw stated that Lieberman is a "consistent leader whose word is his word" and that his experience is best suited to lead the country.

Aynaw, who immigrated to Israel similarly to Lieberman, expressed that she understands the challenges of immigration and integration, and the need to fight for one's place. She believes Lieberman has the experience to make the right decisions and that Israel needs leadership that takes responsibility for its security. She also claimed Lieberman was the first to identify the October 7th scenario while the "closed-minded leadership" did not listen.

Aynaw further emphasized that their partnership should promote genuine representation for Ethiopian Israelis in decision-making positions, address issues of excessive policing, reduce gaps, and provide equal opportunities in education and employment. She asserted that the post-October 7th period represents an unprecedented low globally, but this situation can be changed.

Lieberman welcomed Aynaw's support, calling her an "independent voice" and an "Israeli story of determination and breakthrough." He expressed his desire for her to utilize her exceptional abilities in international public diplomacy to continue the fight for Israel's standing in the world alongside him. He also highlighted her work in promoting the voices of Ethiopian immigrants and their integration into Israeli society.
